A Roman mosaic – El Djem (3rd Century AD),the original large floor mosaic was found in the House of Africa, ancient Thysdrus, El Djem (3rd Century AD)

It can now be seen in the El Djem museum, Tunisia. The mosaic was part of a pavement of linked imagery of food separated into individual panels by braids of foliage and guilloche patterning. This copy made from marble now adds extra splendour to a wall of a fine wine cellar.)
